Everything on the board

reelport.io does one job: getting short vertical video, and the odd photo, out to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Facebook Pages at the minute you picked. These are the parts that make that work.

The composer: write it once

One video, one caption, one target per channel. Each platform’s own options sit right below the caption.

New postExample
  • A 9:16 preview of the video next to the caption, so you see what viewers see.
  • Limits counted as you type: 2,200 characters for the caption, at most 30 hashtags for Instagram, 100 characters for a YouTube title.
  • No silent defaults. TikTok’s “who can watch” and YouTube’s “made for kids” have to be answered; nothing is preselected where a platform says you must choose.
  • Draft, schedule or publish now. A scheduled post can be edited or cancelled until it starts publishing.
  • Checked before it is saved. Photos on a video-only channel, an Instagram photo outside its frame or a TikTok option the creator turned off are refused in the composer, not at posting time.
  • See every platform’s options

The queue is a departures board

One board per day. Each post is a departure: its time, the post, the channels it goes to and what happened.

Every channel reports back on its own: published with a live link, or failed with the reason in plain words. A post that went out on some channels and not on others reads partly failed, never just “error”.

The status runs pending, queued, publishing, published, failed or cancelled per channel, so you always know which step a departure is at.

The home screen puts delayed departures first, then the next ones to leave.

Departures · Today · Europe/BerlinExample
  1. Sunrise over the harbourInstagram, Facebook, YouTube Published
  2. Three lenses I actually useTikTok, InstagramTikTok · Daily posting limit reached. Retry tomorrow. Partly failed
  3. Colour grade in 30 secondsInstagram, TikTok, YouTube Publishing
  4. Behind the shot: gallery photoInstagram, Facebook Scheduled

The calendar: the month at a glance

Every scheduled and published post sits on its day as the 9:16 reel it is, with its time.

Plan weeks ahead

See gaps and clusters before they happen; open any post from its day to edit it.

One clock

Times are shown with the timezone they are in, so a team across two countries reads the same board.

Next free slot

Daily slots at 09:00, 12:30 and 18:00 local time; the Resolve plugin and the API can take the next free one.

Teams with roles

Channels, videos and the queue belong to a team. Billing is per team, so an agency pays once for everyone in it.

Owner
Everything: rename or delete the team, add, change and remove members, invite people, choose a plan and manage billing.
Admin
Rename the team, invite people and cancel invitations, plus everything a member can do.
Member
Connect channels, upload media, write, schedule, edit and cancel posts, and watch the queue and calendar.

Seats and channels per team depend on the plan. Extra teams, for example one per client, come with the Agency plan. Compare plans

Retries and failure handling

Publishing runs on reelport.io’s servers in the EU, so your laptop can be closed at posting time.

Hiccups are retried

  1. 1 minFirst retry after a network error, a platform 5xx or a 429.
  2. 5 minSecond retry, if it still did not go through.
  3. 15 minLast retry. After that the departure is marked failed.

If the server stops halfway, the upload the platform already accepted is picked up again instead of being posted twice.

Refusals are explained

When a platform says no for good (a policy refusal, a revoked login, a daily limit), the departure fails at once instead of retrying blindly. The board shows a delay note naming the platform, the reason and the fix, and whoever wrote the post gets an email.

Instagram · The account needs to be connected again. Example

A channel whose login was revoked is marked “needs reconnect”, so the next post doesn’t fail the same way.

Hashtag suggestions, labelled honestly

Suggestions per platform, right in the composer. Where they come from is written above them.

YouTube

Trending in your region

Hashtags from today’s most popular YouTube videos in your region, read from YouTube’s own chart. Needs a connected YouTube channel.

Instagram · TikTok · Facebook

Your own most-used tags

These platforms publish no trending-hashtag data an app may read. Instead of guessing, reelport.io offers the tags your team uses most there, and says so.

Only YouTube has real trend data. We won’t call anything else “trending”.

A media library for your renders

Upload once and use the same file in as many posts as you like.

Videos
MP4 or MOV, up to 1 GB and 10 minutes.
Photos
JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 8 MB, stored as JPEG.
Poster frame
A 9:16 thumbnail is made for lists, calendar and composer.
Retention
Private EU storage. Files are deleted 30 days after their last post; you can delete them sooner.

Photo posts for Instagram and Facebook

Not everything is a reel. Photos go to the two platforms that take them.

  • Instagram takes photos between 4:5 portrait and 1.91:1 landscape. Anything outside is refused rather than cropped, so the post looks like you meant it to.
  • Facebook Pages take the photo with its caption, uploaded to the Page you manage.
  • TikTok and YouTube take videos only. Pick a photo and the composer tells you before you schedule.

Your next reel, on every channel. On time.
