TikTok, by TikTok’s rules

TikTok’s own posting flow, kept intact: your creator name, who can watch with no default, interactions off until you allow them, the content disclosure, and one more check right before it posts.

Waiting for TikTok

Until TikTok has approved reelport.io, TikTok only lets it publish to private accounts, and posts stay private (only you can see them). Set your account to private in the TikTok app under Settings and privacy › Privacy › Private account. We will update this page when the review is done.

What account you need

Any TikTok account.

  • reelport.io asks TikTok for two permissions: to read your basic profile (name and picture) and to publish videos.

What you can post to TikTok

Checked when you upload and when you schedule, not after a post fails.

Videos
MP4 or MOV, up to 1 GB and 10 minutes. TikTok also sets a maximum length per creator; the composer checks your video against it.
Photos
Not supported. Photos go to Instagram and Facebook only.
Caption
Up to 2,200 characters.

TikTok options in the composer

Below the shared caption, only the options this platform actually asks for.

Posting as
The composer shows the creator nickname you are posting as, read live from TikTok.
Who can watch
Chosen from the privacy levels TikTok offers your account. There is no default: you have to pick one for every post.
Comments, duets, stitches
Off unless you allow them. If you turned one off in TikTok, it stays off and can’t be switched on here.
Commercial content
Disclose “Your brand” (promoting yourself) or “Branded content” (promoting someone else). Branded content can’t be private, and you agree to TikTok’s Branded Content Policy as well as its Music Usage Confirmation.
The creator re-check
Your choices are checked against your TikTok account when you schedule and again right before posting. If something is no longer allowed, the post stops with a clear message; nothing is changed for you.

How connecting works

You sign in on the platform’s own page. reelport.io never sees your password, and its stored logins are encrypted.

In Channels, choose TikTok and sign in on TikTok’s own page.

  2. 02

Allow reelport.io to read your basic profile and publish videos.

  3. 03

The account shows up as a channel. Logins are refreshed before each post; if TikTok revokes one, the channel asks you to reconnect.
