Getting started
What is reelport.io?
A planner for short vertical video. Upload a reel once, write one post with each platform’s options, pick a time, and reelport.io publishes it to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Facebook Pages, retries the hiccups and shows each result on one board.
Is there a free trial?
7 days with every feature, 1 seat and 2 channels, no card needed. Pick a plan whenever you are ready; nothing is charged before.
Can I use it without the Resolve plugin?
Yes. reelport.io is a complete planner in the browser. The plugin, the Claude extension and the API are extra ways to get videos into the same queue.
Channels
Which accounts can I connect?
Any Instagram Professional account (Creator or Business), Facebook Pages you manage, any TikTok account and any YouTube channel.
Do I need a Meta business portfolio for Instagram?
No. Choose “Continue with Instagram” when you connect and sign in to the account. You only need it switched to Creator or Business in the Instagram app.
Can I post to my personal Facebook profile?
No. Facebook only allows apps to post to Pages.
Why are my TikTok posts private?
Until TikTok has approved reelport.io, TikTok only lets it post privately (only you can see the video), and your account has to be set to private. We will lift this as soon as TikTok’s review is done.
Why do I see an “unverified app” notice from Google?
Until Google has verified reelport.io for YouTube uploads, Google may show that notice when you connect a channel.
Does every vertical video become a YouTube Short?
YouTube counts vertical or square videos up to 3 minutes as Shorts. The composer warns you when a video won’t count.
Files
Which files can I upload?
Videos as MP4 or MOV up to 1 GB and 10 minutes, photos as JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 8 MB. Each platform’s own limits are checked before you schedule, not after it fails.
Where can photos go?
To Instagram and Facebook. Instagram photos must be between 4:5 portrait and 1.91:1 landscape; TikTok and YouTube take videos only.
Do my videos stay on your servers?
Only as long as they are needed. Files sit in a private bucket in the EU and are deleted 30 days after their last post went out. You can delete them sooner at any time.
Publishing
Does my computer need to be on at posting time?
No. Publishing runs on reelport.io’s servers in the EU, at the minute you picked.
What happens if a post fails?
Network hiccups and platform outages are retried automatically after 1, 5 and 15 minutes. If a platform refuses a post, the board shows a delay note naming the platform, the reason and what to do, and you get an email.
Can I change a scheduled post?
Yes, edit or cancel it any time until it starts publishing.
Is there a limit on posts?
Yes: 60 on Creator, 300 on Pro and 1,500 on Agency (10 in the trial), counted by the month a post goes out. The platforms also set their own daily limits.
Teams and billing
Who can do what in a team?
Owners manage everything, including billing and members. Admins can rename the team and invite people. Members connect channels, upload, and write and schedule posts.
Which currency are prices in?
US dollars. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies.
How do I cancel?
In Billing › Invoices and payment method, which opens Stripe’s customer portal. The plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then stops renewing.
Can I run several teams?
Extra teams, for example one per client, come with the Agency plan.
Resolve, Claude and the API
How does the Resolve plugin sign in?
With a short code: the plugin opens reelport.io/device, you check the code, pick the team and click Connect Reelport. No password is entered in Resolve.
Is there an API?
Yes, a REST API v1 and an MCP server at reelport.io/mcp, both with personal API tokens. Posts sent through them follow the same rules as the composer.
