This policy spells out the acceptable use section of our terms of service. It applies to everything published through reelport.io, whether from the web app, the Reelport plugin, the Claude extension or the API.
Each platform’s rules
Every post must follow the terms, community guidelines and developer policies of the platform it goes to: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. reelport.io enforces the parts it can check (TikTok’s posting choices and commercial-content disclosure, YouTube’s audience declaration, Instagram’s photo frame); the rest is your responsibility.
- Disclose commercial content where a platform requires it, for example TikTok’s “Your brand” and “Branded content”.
- Answer YouTube’s “made for kids” question truthfully.
Content
Do not publish content that is:
- illegal, or infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights;
- hateful, harassing, threatening or violent;
- sexually exploitative, or sexual content involving minors in any form;
- deceptive, or advertising that is not disclosed as such.
Spam and manipulation
- No spam, and no manipulating engagement such as likes, views or follows.
- Don’t get around a platform’s posting limits, for example by spreading one account’s posts over several reelport.io teams.
Accounts and identity
- Connect and post only to accounts you are authorised to manage.
- Don’t impersonate people, brands or organisations.
- Don’t resell or share access to reelport.io outside your team without our written consent.
API and fair use
- The API allows 120 requests a minute and 60 uploads an hour per token. Don’t try to get around these limits, for example with many tokens.
- Don’t attack, overload, probe or reverse engineer the service, or get around its access controls.
- Keep tokens secret, give each the abilities it needs and no more, and revoke the ones you no longer use.
- Agents using the MCP server act for you: what they schedule is your responsibility, as if you had posted it yourself.
Technical details are in the API and MCP overview.
What we do about breaches
If we have concrete indications of a breach, we may remove the content concerned, disconnect channels or suspend the account, choosing the mildest measure that is sufficient and telling you why, unless the law prevents it.
Reporting abuse
To report content published through reelport.io, write to info@pixelandprocess.de with a link to the post and what is wrong with it. Content on a platform can also be reported there directly.
