Google verification
Until Google has verified reelport.io, Google may show an “unverified app” notice when you sign in. We will update this page once verification is done.
What account you need
Any YouTube channel you can upload to.
- You sign in with the Google account that owns the channel. A Google account without a YouTube channel can’t be connected.
What you can post to YouTube Shorts
Checked when you upload and when you schedule, not after a post fails.
- Videos
- MP4 or MOV, up to 1 GB and 10 minutes. YouTube treats vertical or square videos up to 3 minutes as Shorts; longer or landscape videos are uploaded as regular videos, and the composer warns you first.
- Photos
- Not supported. Photos go to Instagram and Facebook only.
- Description
- The post’s caption becomes the video description.
YouTube Shorts options in the composer
Below the shared caption, only the options this platform actually asks for.
- Title
- Required, up to 100 characters.
- Visibility
- Public, unlisted or private.
- Made for kids
- Required by YouTube for every upload. You answer yes or no; nothing is preselected.
- Shorts check
- There is no Shorts switch in YouTube’s upload. reelport.io warns when a video is landscape or longer than 3 minutes, but doesn’t block it.
How connecting works
You sign in on the platform’s own page. reelport.io never sees your password, and its stored logins are encrypted.
- 01
In Channels, choose YouTube and sign in with Google.
- 02
Allow reelport.io to upload videos and to read your channel’s name and picture.
- 03
Google logins last an hour; reelport.io refreshes them right before each upload, so scheduled posts go out without you.
Your next post to YouTube Shorts, on time.
Connect a channel, schedule your first post and watch it depart.
