What account you need
A Professional account (Creator or Business). No business portfolio needed.
- Instagram only lets apps publish for Professional accounts. A personal account has to be switched to Creator or Business first, in the Instagram app.
- Sign in with Instagram itself, or with Facebook if the account already sits in a Meta business portfolio.
What you can post to Instagram
Checked when you upload and when you schedule, not after a post fails.

- Photos
- JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 8 MB (stored as JPEG). Between 4:5 portrait and 1.91:1 landscape; anything outside is refused rather than cropped.
- Caption
- Up to 2,200 characters and at most 30 hashtags, counted as you type.

- 01
In Channels, choose Instagram. Meta’s sign-in opens.
- 02
